Relax, take it easy

June 23rd, 2008 by robbie

The big “boss” is out of country for the next month, so that means no working - 30 days of relaxation and enjoying. (not that I’ve had it hard the past couple of weeks)

Just have to go pickup some lists tomorrow that confirm I’m finished with school until September.

My boss is probably one of the best kind. A boss everyone would want to have. (and not because he’s leaving the country.)

Simply because he’s nice, never nervous, doesn’t expect alien technology from us (as if outstanding results in work) - he’s just so realistic and understanding.

If only every had it easy like me. ;)

I can’t only imagine what your worst boss is/was. Care to share your story with me?

Well, well… looks like someone’s a little too excited about having his boss leave? :P

Anyway, the only fun thing about bosses who aren’t very nice is that you can tell your friends stories about them and watch their jaws drop.

Unfortunately, every boss I’ve had has been really nice so I don’t have a lot of interesting stories to tell :P

Reply: I don’t know what you’re talking about. :P And I agree, just by listening to some stories about “uptight” bosses can get on your nerves. Unfortunately? We should consider ourselves lucky :P

haha..my first boss was pretty horrid..
*i had no lunch time..only 5mins for takeaway..
*I couldnt sit at all, even when there were no customers..
*And she’s the kind who smiles and then %$@#* behind your back..

yucks!! lol..

Reply: Kinda cruel, people who don’t have anything else to do, simply screw with your head and boss you around so they feel better. (lol)

If your boss is gone you don’t have to work? That’s weird. Our head boss is almost never around but we have to keep going in haha. I like my boss and he likes me. He asks for my opinion quite often so I feel like he trusts in my opinion. Saying that, the boss isn’t really the only person that I have to answer to. There are numerous supervisors and then there are the managers and the cash office people. Like most people there are those you get along with and those you don’t, but you deal with it. For the most part I enjoy working with every one that I have to work with which is probably the main reason why I went back to that job.

Reply: He’s the only boss, and it’s a very small company. When he’s not around, there’s no one else to watch over. Otherwise boss in or out of country, you have to work.

Glad you like it, I thought there was more miserable people with “weird” bosses. :P Looks like being a good boss is becoming a popular thing now?.

So, the business closes down until he comes back? Quite unusual I must say. But lucky you…!

Reply: He has a one man company (with me and another 2 guys)… So there’s no one to watch over when he’s gone. It’s easier for him to simply carry a laptop with him and do some small work on the way.

I never really had any horrible bosses *knock on wood*. Then again, I’ve only ever had like 2 jobs. heh.

Enjoy your time off :)

Reply: Glad you haven’t. =) Thanks. :)

My boss looks like he spends way too much time at the gym, and takes steroids. He doesn’t know my name, and looks like he enjoys bossing people around.

Reply: Kinda reminds me of by boss at the bar last year, he looked at himself in the mirror every 16 seconds.

my boss is pretty cool. other than the fact that he banned smoke breaks. but it’s cool either way. i mean we work at a doctor’s office and smokers would reek of the smell every after smoke breaks and that is just wrong u know. my boss is pretty hott too. he’s only 24, just graduated from college like a year ago i think and he’s an eye candy for everybody at work. he’s one of the reasons why i like dressing up real cute at work. hah! another reason would be our patients’s dads (i work at a kid’s doctor’s office) he he he. have fun working without a boss! :)

Reply: No wonder you don’t mind him banning the smoke brakes, you have more checkin’ him out now, lol. :P Hehe, aren’t most of them married? And there’s no working until he comes back. ;)
