Birthday Party

October 9th, 2007 by robbie

Sorry for the non-activeness lately, school started, so I’ve been sleeping more often lately. (school can exhausting, can’t it? :P ).

The day before yesterday (Saturday), one of my best friends had a birthday party.

I came back yesterday (Sunday) , and it was one wild party. I had a great time, we were home alone, and there was only 7 of us, does it get any better?

I already miss summer when I had more free time on my hands.

We’ve already started planning our school prom night. We’re going to Greece, the island Corfu (We call it Krf over here). We’re going there by boat, sand beaches, night-clubs, could you ask for anything more?

Can’t wait for August 23rd! (yeah.. next year)

Planning your prom yet? Or how fun was it when you had it?

*edit* Forgot to mention I updated the links out page. :) **

Sarah of Risque had to change URLs to 70×7.stopcrashgo.com, glad to see her back. Make sure you update the new link if you linked to her. (:

Sleep is good! Yay for sleep!

Haha. Parties are good too. Although I miss summer, I’m going to see the Hives at webster hall tonight which should be awesome.

My prom was definitely boring. No beaches. No nothing. Just bad food and a dingy hall. Yuck, I love college.

Reply: Sleeping is definitely something these days :P.

Have fun at the webster hall, enjoy! About your prom, I could settle for “boring”, but what kind of food was there? :P

My friend and his friends went to Mykonos for the post-prom party for a week. He said it was amazing and he had the best time. Hopefully you will too :) I wish I can go to Greece.

Reply: I’m glad your friend had a blast, they should of taken you with them heh. If there’s any room available for the trip, I’m sending you an invitation, and you’ll be able to tell your friend what kind of a blast you had. :P

Glad you had fun!

My prom wasn’t at all what I expected it to be. A few days before it my boyfriend broke up with me so it left me looking for a new date, which of course by this time everyone had one. I got one in the end though, almost the day before but by that point i didn’t even want to go. I was so frustated with everything.

Prom istelf was allright but I couldn’t help but wish I was with my previous boyfriend.

Reply: Sorry to hear that, I can’t imagine how it felt, I’d probably stay at home… Kinda bad luck when you look at it, breaking up just a few days before the prom.

Hope you at least made another party where you made up for the loss at the prom. ;)

OH yeah finally you updated your blog. If we didn’t send emails to each other or chat over gmail, i’d deff think that you’re dead if you did not update your blog. =]

Party eh? YAYness!! heehee.

Your prom plans sound really great! But that’s deff going to change before aug. 23. you have like a year before it… but it’s good that you are planning ahead!

Mine was so-so. I expected too much from it.. I mean, the dance part, but ofcourse, being the party pants that I always am…. I threw an after-party at a hotel room where our prom was held at. I checked in a day early before the prom (students from the prom aren’t allowed to check in) so they wouldn’t know that I am part of the prom. =]

I intentionally invited 6 people… but I knew words will spread out and I was right, almost 50 people came to my hotel room (originally for 4 people).. we almost got kicked out… like seriously. But they gave us a break since it was prom or whatnot. =]

who’s gonna be yer date?

Reply: Me? Dead? Never! :) We already booked the date, the ship and the apartments. (it’s kind of a thing you do a year early here :P - and the whole class is going ).

lol you sure fooled em’? Genius. And haha wow 50 people, had to be one hell of a party. :)

My date? I think I’m finding my date(s) once I get to Greece. :P

Greece for prom! That’s so awesome. It sounds like you are going to have an amazing time. We didn’t go anywhere for our prom. We went downtown to some building where we spent the night dancing. It was still fun, but I think it would have been awesome to be outside on the beach! Except girls in dresses at the beach here wouldn’t work in June because it’s still cold then. It would have to be July or August lol

Reply: All night dancing, does it get better than that? *starts dancing* :P . And swimming in the icy water can be pretty exciting! (not so much for men though lol) :)

Nina | October 12th, 2007

new theme. wee. =]

Reply: Looks nice, reminds me of the previous one, only without the pop-up comments :P

Natasha | October 13th, 2007

Wow, you seem to always get involved in a lot of parties, hey?

Reply: Parties as good as these happen like once in two weeks, so it’s not as often as you may think. :)

Kris | October 13th, 2007

Finally after one month and seven days…!

I think I’ve told you before that I’m not into parties, right? You’re going to Greece(next year?). Oh boy. I wish I could come! LOL

Reply: I should have a counter to remind me or something :P . And you’re free to come, we could hide you in the apartments or something :P

Over here in Vancouver, we have our prom at a hotel and usually head to the beach for an after-party. And then since most proms are held before the long weekend, everyone from most of the schools heads out to Whistler, the mountain resorts, for a weekend of partying.

Yours definitely sounds more fun though. GREECE FOR PROM!? Wow.

How’s the last year of high school treating you?

Reply: Party, after-party, a whole weekend! Even more fun. :) I hope it’s going to be as awesome as everyone thinks lol.

Actually it’s not the last year yet, here we go to the prom 1 year earlier than the actual school finish :P . This year is pretty fun, then one more to go, the last one is the easiest one, so they say :P

Crystal | October 21st, 2007

Greece sounds fun and interesting!!
gotta take loads of photos when you get there!! haha..

i havent been to any prom yet actually..
lol..unbelievable..

Reply: I’ll try to, or I’ll just take my friends photos lol. What are you waiting for? :)

Alex | October 21st, 2007

Wow, your school is allowing you to go to Greece for your prom? The local highschool just holds the prom at the Marriott (hotel) where I live. Like I have said before, you go to way too many parties.

Reply: Actually we didn’t involve our school, it’s only between us pupils and the travel agency. And this is in a year from now :)

Colum | October 23rd, 2007

Wow, lucky. School is like hell. Mostly math…:(

Reply: Tell me about it, we would have to rise against math and those numbers… ;)

Natasha | October 27th, 2007

Wow, you really are the life of the party. LOL Wish I could be like that.

I seem to be lightyears away from prom. I don’t even want to start thinking about it just yet. I’ll get depressed knowing that I still have 2 years of school left.

Reply: What’s stopping you? :) And since like the 8th grade, every year in highschool is passing by faster, kinda weird but I think that’s good. :P

Rafia | October 27th, 2007

It seems like you’re doing fine managing school with fun. Gosh knows I cannot let loose. Sometimes I might even forget to eat because I am so swamped with school. Help, please? LOL.

Greece? Wow. I know Greece is beautiful, with the blue sea and all the white stone buildings and all…

Aww, I love your links page! Russian spy from India… Hehe!

Reply: I’m trying to! I know how to help, let’s throw a party and you’ll definitely let loose. :)

I haven’t been to Greece yet, when you describe it like that… I can’t wait! =)

And quiet, somebody might hear you’re a spy. :P

Sarah | October 30th, 2007

Over here in good ol’ England it’s the half term holidays, so I have plenty of spare time ^^
You get to go to Corfu for your prom? OMG lucky! Mine’s in a years time but I know for sure that it’ll be in some crappy venue… in England (woo?).
Do you use a plugin for this reply feature fandango?

Thanks for linking me by the way!

Reply: Holidays? I’m moving to England! :P Doesn’t England have the best parties?

I wish it was a plugin. I edit comments manually and write Reply: then put it bold.. every else italic… Guess I have time? :P

Niki | October 31st, 2007

Hiya Robbie, wanted to drop by to wish you a HAPPY HALLOWEEN! :D

Reply: Heyah, happy Halloween to you too. :) *halloweenish evil laughter*

Nina | October 31st, 2007

Nina misses Robbie. =(

Are you dressing up for Halloween? hehe. Come visit my blog, it’s lonely!

Reply: I forgot to dress up. :P On my way!

Carmen | November 3rd, 2007

Ohgodyes, sleep. I’m finally done with exams so I’m back to 10 hours of sleep, as opposed to 5-6 hours. Good times.

My prom/formal is on in a couple of weeks, and I can’t wait! Wow- Greece- that is AMAZING.

Reply: “Good times” doesn’t describe the greatness of 10 hours of sleep. :P

Have a blast at the prom!

Elcee | November 4th, 2007

Heh, kudos for you for sleeping more often… something I have trouble doing during the school year. :P

Prom’s not coming any soon for me yet, it’s next year. That’s awesome yours is in Greece. Perfect place to have your school prom. You should have a blast! :)

Reply: Sleeping problems during a school year? Didn’t know that was possible. :P

Same here with the waiting, this year should pass on by fast. :)

Lara | November 6th, 2007

Natasha | November 17th, 2007

Prom? Not even going to think that far into the future! (in 2 years, actually) Actually, right now, I’m just worried about not having a date. And not having THE dress.

Reply: You’ll have a date before you even realize. And how hard is finding a dress? :P

Shauna | December 2nd, 2007

Reply: Partying? Only school! :P I’ll update.

Nina | December 21st, 2007

Reply: I’d find a way to get out of that chair. :P

Kris | December 24th, 2007
