Last Party?

September 2nd, 2007 by robbie

This friday, I partied with one of my best friends “Cizo“. He opened up a blog recently, check him out. ;)

I had a blast with him, he’s one of the wildest party animals you’ll meet.

Thinking about it, school starts tomorrow, does this mean no partying till next summer? Of course not! *grin*

Studying will be my priority, but still have to relax once in a while, right?

What about you, does school/job or kids (if you’re a parent), stop you from partying or having fun in your own way?

*edit*
I won the competition over at Fantasy Nerd. I want to thank everyone who voted. I really appreciate it, thank you. Check out the finalists blog. =)

Financial lackage. Meaning no money hahahaha.

Good luck with school!

Reply: Same here lol, that’s why this partying happens only once in a few fridays :P. And thanks. :)

Deanna | September 3rd, 2007

Nothing stops me from partying. But that’s because I don’t party in the first place. I don’t like being around drunk people. Good luck to you trying to find some partying time though!

Reply: I don’t like those yelling drunks either. Love the ones who know how to party thoguh. :) And thanks!

Lexie | September 3rd, 2007

School does, at times.

That’s when I go for coffee instead. :P

Reply: Coffee is just as good, does the trick. =)

Carmen | September 3rd, 2007

Hahaha, my parents encourage me to go out and party because they think I “work too hard” which is eleven levels of laughable, but if not, I just tell them that I’m super stressed, etc.

Enjoy all your partying!

Reply: Wanna switch parents? :P Thanks. =)

That’s awesome that you’ve got your friend to get a blog :) well, did you persuade him, or was it just by curiosity? Any who, at least you have someone to convey your online life with offline. If only my friends were into blogging… but alas, Myspace is there obsession.

YOU PARTY ANIMAL, YOU! I can’t say that enough, Robbie. Can never say that enough.

I wouldn’t say that school keeps me from having fun. I actually enjoy finishing up homework and talking on the phone with friends. It’s like… going for the goal and succeeding almost. Enough of my nerdy gibberish. Weekends are the way to go my friend! PARTY ALL WEEKEND :) Maybe bad advice, but hey, if you’re a party animal, live up to your name.

See what I mean about not saying that enough? :)

Reply: Actually, he was into websites already, but he didn’t actually own a domain until he won Alex’s contest. Luckily, no one of my friends is into myspace and such.

Haha, party animal sounds really wild, maybe in a few years, I’ll be up to it’s name? :P

Exene | September 3rd, 2007

Well I’m not really a party animal. School starts for me tomorrow too. I get burned out pretty easily. I enjoy summer much more.

Reply: I’m not a party animal either, just having fun once in a while lol. Good luck in school.

Kris | September 3rd, 2007

Party all the way before … school! Haha. I’m not much of a ‘partygirl’ but of course, I’m not studyholic and I do hang out with some friends occasionally. XP

Oh, a friend who has a blog. I don’t think I have a friend who has…they’re not into blogs.

Reply: But school started already! *argh* Hanging out with friends is just as good as partying heh.

My friends are too lazy, your friends probably have their own reasons, like jobs and such :) .

My husband’s profession as a DJ pretty much has us partying every weekend. This past Labor Day weekend we partied like rockstars every night. Plus, we love to go out to clubs, bars and parties with friends..so yeah we do party a lot more than most other 30 somethings. However, we are both computer geeks at the same time. Weeknights we’re usually glued in front of our computers, nerding the night away.

Reply: Wow, I’m marrying a female DJ when I’m older, hehe. Sounds fun and exciting.

Computer geeks? Even better, you never have to call the service-man to fix something :) .

AGH! I can’t believe that summer is ACTUALLY over!

Work has definitely been a killer for me.. I only went to two parties this summer which is pretty horrible. Hopefully now that I won’t be working so much, I’ll have more time to have fun!

Hope your first day back to school goes well!

Reply: It was more like a few weeks than two whole months of summer, time flies too fast. =/

Hope you get some more free time to have fun, it’s important to “get down with it” :P . And it went great!

Laarni | September 4th, 2007

I miss partying and dancing. :P

Reply: What’s stopping you? Get out there any party. =)

NINA | September 4th, 2007

i will tell you this… “If there’s a will, there’s a way!” So… meaning to say, NOTHING can stop me from partying.

Glad you had fun with your bestfriend. =] Have fun at school… mwahahah.

Reply: Maybe I’ll take it as my new moto :P . School? Oh yeah, fun for sure! lol

Elcee | September 4th, 2007

Heh, thanks for the recognition :). Congrats winning the SOTF!

I’ve not been to a lot of parties during the school year since I’ve been so concerned about my grades. But, this year I’m promising myself to give myself some slack. My friends have been making me anyway.

Hope your first day back turned out well :)

Reply: Thanks. =) Since I started partying, most of my grades went up, maybe that’s the solution for them? If so, start partying! ;)

First day turned out good, a whole school year to go lol.

Shauna | September 5th, 2007

Nothing really stops me from partying, but I don’t do it very often during the shcool year. I like to concentrate on my grades especially now that I’m in university and have to pay to go to school. When I was in highschool it was a bit different, heh.

School & work are my main priorities, but everyone needs a little time for themselves. Hope you are enjoying your first week of shcool, and congrats on winning the contest. :)

Reply: I understand when you have to pay to go to school, you really have to study hard to keep up.

I’m enjoying, and thanks :) .

Natasha | September 5th, 2007

Probably the lack of opportunities. I don’t get invited to a lot of parties, and also I live in a boarding house so I don’t really get to go out. The most “party” thing we get is school dances, which gets pretty wild over here. That happens about once or twice every term, so, yeah.

Reply: If you’re not invited just go to a disco with friends (if there’s an opportunity) =) . School dances? We don’t have any of those!

Hope you get some more opportunities to have some fun ;) .

Rafia | September 5th, 2007

Wow, you’ve definitely been partying it up. I’m such a low-key, homebody… to me going on the internets or watching TV is a way for me to relax.

Good luck this school year. I’m sure you’ll manage to squeeze in a party or two.

Reply: Isn’t that how we all relax? :) Thanks, and the same to you. =)

Kat | September 6th, 2007

But sitting at home reading my biochemistry book and cross-referencing it with information on the web is a party. Isn’t it?

Reply: Of course. Once I got wasted just by googling. :P

cizo | September 6th, 2007

I’m not a party animal dude
But still… that night was pretty sweet.

Great, you won the competition. Gratz !

I hope i’ll be able to make it on friday, though things don’t seem to be going my way…
Also wish u luck in school this year

Reply: Was sweet heh. No problem, you know where to find me lol. Thanks, the same to you bro.

Alex | September 8th, 2007

Partying… again? What did I say about not turning into a male version of Britney Spears? I can’t party yet because of course, I don’t have any parties to go to. You don’t normally see thirteen year olds going to clubs nowadays.

Reply: “Oops I did it again” lol. You’d be surprised, at some parties you can see anything from 13 and above. Shocked? :P

Nina | September 10th, 2007

yay for winning! btw, i partied over the weekend, might be interested reading about it. =]

Reply: lol you definitely had a blast ;)

Niki | September 15th, 2007

Kids & old age hasn’t stopped us, we’re just much more “discreet” lol

Yay for winning! I know I voted for you!

Reply: lol I can’t figure it out how you used “yourself” and “old age” in the same sentence :P .

And thanks for voting. =)

Felisa | September 16th, 2007

Work hard but party harder!
If I really want to do something, I can always figure out a way to squeeze in some time for myself — whether it be for relaxation or for partying.

Reply: Hehe nice moto, everyone should take the time either to relax or to party :) .

Austin | September 23rd, 2007

Robbie! You should blog more often! Every time I feast my eyes on upon your blog, I’m constantly aching to read a new blog entry :)

Reply: If it was only that easy heh. I’m keeping you on the edge aren’t I? :P

Laur | September 23rd, 2007

I’m not much of a partier, but I enjoy myself. There’s always time for fun and school, you just have to find the right balance. In fact, I find that when I allow myself to relax and have fun, I’m more easily able to focus on my schoolwork. It’s important to focus on your studies, but at the same time, it’s important not to let them take control of your life. The stress will only hurt your grades, anyway.

Reply: Enjoying is just as good as partying, just need that “something” aside from studying. :)

Crystal | September 25th, 2007

nope..school doesnt stop me from having fun..haha..
but when the assessment period gets closer and closer, i find myself being drained of energy..ugh!!

Reply: Glad to hear that school doesn’t stop you lol. Hope you don’t run out of energy!

Nina | September 26th, 2007

i am sick of this entry. hehe. update! move!! heh. =] Oh btw, I moved to a new domain. from gimikjunkie.com to itsnina.com, update my link please! =]

Reply: I will, I will!:P . I knew you moved, but didn’t manage to email you to get the link. *updated*

lara | September 27th, 2007

Yay for you winning! I knew you would :P

P.S. Partying is always good.

Reply: I had no idea I’d win, who voted anyways? :P And always heh.

blogOloco | September 27th, 2007

well done for winning.

as a parent myself, i do find it hard at times when you’ve got two kids and works full time. unfortunately having a full time housekeeper here is quite expensive only the queen can afford he he he

Reply: Thanks. I can only imagine how much work that is, you probably don’t get any free time for yourself. Hope you get some time for “relaxing”. :)

yoshke | September 28th, 2007

update! update! update!

haha. demanding.

Reply: I will, I will! :P

blogOloco | September 28th, 2007

Absolutely. I do have a lot of free time though. Unfortunately, it all get spent from travelling. It’s what I love in Europe. They take emphasis on your social/family life. I get 7 weeks annual leave per year. Not to mention your six months paid sick leave etc…. but many thanks for the concern

Reply: Wow, definitely sounds great and exciting, I guess I misunderstood you, sorry. :)

Sylvia | September 28th, 2007

Hi, I am a brand new parent and so far it does not get in the way of anything really. I have already had so many babysit offers that I can go out every night if I’d want to. October 8th me and my boyfriend will be together for 5 years and it will be our first night out without our new born baby boy. We need some time to celebrate, just the two of us… Thanks for congratulating me on Shauna’s blogcomments! :D

Reply: Glad to hear that :) . Hope you have a great time on October 8th! And anytime, all the best, much much love and health :)

Kris | October 1st, 2007

You’re ever present in the comments but hardly here? It’s been a month since you updated this.

Reply: I like commenting. :P … And what? It’s been a month already?? heh :P Nothing really (much) important happened worth mentioning. I’ll definitely update this week. :)

christian | October 8th, 2007

In my case, I still find some time to have some fun, just like now. You see, my finals will start tomorrow and I’m here, blog hopping. I think I’m getting good at time management lately.

Reply: Always time for some fun :) . Good luck with your finals.
