What a party…

August 16th, 2007 by robbie

*wakes up.. Sunday.. argh my head* *can’t believe we took a 46 year old to a party*

Leaving the house at 3pm, me and a couple of friends walking down the street, talking about the place I worked, this old 46-year old walks by and says “anything but that place!”.

After he explains why he hates the place so much, he invites us for a drink, he tells us he wants to see where and how we party. :) Sure, let’s party!

Everyone gets wasted, including him, they all leave at 4am, I wanted to stay in the city for the other party on Saturday, which would start like 12 hours from that time.

He decides he doesn’t want to go anywhere without me, so he starts acting like a child, saying he’s going to fall and hurt himself, (he was still sooo drunk lol)… Of course I stayed with him.

Watched out for him until 12 in the after noon, then took off home, and slept until Sunday morning.

I didn’t bother waking up to attend the other party that day, really didn’t feel like partying. And since when do 46 year olds start partying?

Did I have a blast or what? Heh :) *tomorrow Friday again.. Partaaay!*

The competition I entered at Fantasy Nerd is still on. If you have a minute I’d really appreciate your vote. :)

(you can vote only once a day, so don’t over exaggerate, I’ll get banned! :P )

Sounds like you had a nice time. Hey, you’re never too old to party. ;) I mean, it’s quite possible that the people at nursing homes have secret wild parties when no one’s there. Don’t overdo the partying though, or you’ll end up becoming the male version of Britney Spears/Lindsay Lohan/Paris Hilton.

Reply: lol they might have parties, I’ll check around :P . And is that possible?

Juice | August 17th, 2007

Who was this 46 year old? Did you just meet him?! Haha that’s so random and cool.

Reply: Just some random guy we met walking down the street, was funny though, lol.

Lene | August 17th, 2007

Oh come on! 46 year olds have the right to have fun to! I party with my mom and she is 48! We have some hardcore moments of irresponsible partying!

Reply: *argh* I never said they don’t have a right to party, I said he started partying too late, like I replied on some previous comment, he should of started partying years and years ago.

And it’s never too old to party!

Angele | August 17th, 2007

*yaaayyy*

W-end is finally here!!
Party time,uh?
Have fun but don’t get too drunk!*hahha*

Just voted for you on Fantasy nerd.

Reply: This friday was just as wild =), I definitely had fun!

Thanks for your vote, I really appreciate it. :)

Kris | August 17th, 2007

46 isn’t old to party….! And remember, everyone has to leash the kid in them, even old ones. Hehehe

Reply: I didn’t say he was too old, I was asking my self since when does some start partying at 46, he should of started 30 years ago. ;)

Exene | August 18th, 2007

I bet when he was young he never did anything. That’s why he’s acting like that and that’s why you should have as much fun as you can have when your young. My psychology teacher told us that.

Reply: I agree, he probably didn’t do anything at all. I’ll try, so I won’t be all wild in my old years. :)

Crystal | August 18th, 2007

one is never too old to do anything i believe..haha..

glad you guys had fun..

Reply: I hope my some random kids take me out partying when I’m over 40. :P

Shauna | August 18th, 2007

I can’t believe you took some random 46 year old to a party, ahaha. Must have been a good night :)

Reply: Can’t believe it either, was a fun party though!

Deanna | August 19th, 2007

Haha I’ll be that 46 year old when I am older. I’ve never really partied before and don’t really have any desire to do it. But I think 46 would be a good age for me to try it out :P

Natasha | August 19th, 2007

OMG 46-year-olds PARTY? What has this world come to? I remember when I was playing tennis and there were two of my coaches there. Nobody else had showed up yet so we were just hitting. Then my coaches, Matt and John started talking about friggin’ concerts and how they’d come home at 3 in the morning and stuff. It was really weird for me to hear that because, hey, up until that point, I hadn’t realized my coaches had lives! (Matt’s 23 and John’s 31) And I freaked out because I didn’t know 30-year-olds still go to concerts.

Reply: They’re taking over the world partying! =) Heh, who maybe, us teenagers today, will be partying like crazy in 30 years. :)

Felisa | August 19th, 2007

I don’t think I’d be too happy with having to bring someone really, really close to my Dad’s age to a party with me! Glad you had fun though! And yeah… I don’t know when school starts for you but keep on partying! I have like a couple of weeks left so I’m still planning something as my last hurrah!

Reply: Well, it was kind of weird, but he’s a party animal lol. School starts in 13 days here *argh*, have fun at your last “hurrah”, party on! :)

Laarni | August 20th, 2007

Stranger? That sounds scary. I voted for you, btw. :D

Reply: Stranger, but we’re friends now. :P Thanks for your vote, I really really appreciate it. =)

Nina | August 20th, 2007

Okay that was weird that you took a random 46 year old dude. But at least you all had fun, that’s the whole point. Yeah, tell me about sleeping all day after all night of partying! But it was fun, wasn’t it? =] And btw, nothing’s wrong with 40+ year olds people partying.. heh. Cuz I know when I turn 40 something, I’d still be partying. HAHAHA.

Reply: Sure was fun. And *argh*, I didn’t say 40 years olds should be partying, I just said he started partying too late, he should of started when he was in my ages. This was like his first real party he attended.

I’ll call you up when I’m 70, we can throw a party together? :P

Austin | August 21st, 2007

OH DEAR. When has a 46 year old want to BOOGIE?! My father’s 45… and I have to say… his energy isn’t at it’s best. Let alone having enough to get wasted and party?! My goodness, that dude, must been quite the party animal, yes? Just add you into the mix, and you have a rave going on :)

VOTING VOTING VOTING :)

Reply: Can’t imagine my father either, but we’ll be probably still partying like crazy when we’re 50, and yes, he was quite a party animal!

I really appreciate your voting, thanks Austin!

Niki | August 21st, 2007

Hey I wanna get wasted! Only it’s *glances at clock* 8:30-ish in the morning. Oy, what a long day today will be!
y
Sounds like fun, though!!

Reply: For a second there, I was going to prepare the beverage, then I read the rest of your comment and saw you were only kidding. :P

Sure is fun!

Nina | August 21st, 2007

Reply: What… milk? No no, by then they’ll have calcium in alcohol too. :P If they don’t, we’ll be sneaking some booze into the retirement home lol!

I’m a regular visitor to your blog, I usually put those sites into my links out section right-away, sometimes I’m just too lazy :P, added you now! :)

Exene | August 22nd, 2007

Anyway here to answer your question. Yeah it sort of tradition but it’s one of the things I really hate about my culture.

yoshke | August 24th, 2007

i bet you’d still be partying when you turn 46. hehehe.

hey, just bloghopping. :)

Reply: 46?? I’ll be like the worst party animal in the retirement home. :P

yoshke | August 24th, 2007

Reply: Up for a party in 30 years? :P

fran | August 24th, 2007

Taking a 46 yr old man is like taking my father to a teen party. LOL. What did the people on that party comment about him?

Anyway Im just bloghopping!! take care.

Reply: Was exactly like that, only probably my father doesn’t party like him heh.

Others did not have any comments, just watched in silence.

Lara | August 25th, 2007

Ohhhhhhh old people. My dad parties pretty hard though. He’s awesome.

LOL. Great story.

Reply: I’d like to meet your dad.

Lexie | August 25th, 2007

I’d feel weird if I took someone my father’s age to a party. Haha. I’d feel really awkward.

Reply: You’d be so drunk you wouldn’t care heh. :P

kat | August 26th, 2007

yikes…that guy sound weird. Sounds like you had to babysit him. Sometimes I wonder if I’ll still be going to clubs and parties when I’m in my 40’s and 50’s. most likely..but just not with teenagers.

Reply: He was kind of weird. But aren’t we all? :P. I’ll be glad to party in my old ages, with all the other oldies. heh =)

sce | August 27th, 2007

Reply: In front of the retirement home? heh, or maybe at my grandsons house. :)

Abby | August 30th, 2007

Good greif. By 30 I hope any children I have, have had me institutionalized.
Or I hope I’m picked up and whisked to partys.
I’d have to say the first for national security reasons :P
But bless (:

Reply: lol, if you don’t get picked up, me and a few others agreed that we meet in 30 years and get wasted. (with the other oldies hehe.)

cthelight | August 31st, 2007

Ha ha, sounds like fun!

Reply: It sure was.

Rafia | August 31st, 2007

Was this 46-year-old man someone you knew? I have a hard time imagining you’d willingly take a stranger with you to a party. But I guess when you’re wasted, you know everyone right?

LOL. I read that as fart and hurt himself at first!

Glad you had a good time at your party(ies?)

Reply: lol, I couldn’t agree more on the “knowing everyone when wasted”. Not really willingly, he was just there, so.. why not show the man what’s his missing these days.

And wasn’t my party really, this is like a disco (underground music caffee), where we usually hang out, good times eh’? :)

Elcee | August 31st, 2007

Lol, a 46 year old at a party? I seriously can’t imagine someone as old as my dad get drunk. Haha.

Reply: I couldn’t imagine it either, but boy did he party, lol!

Nina | August 31st, 2007

rob, still alive?

Reply: Of course, just a little dizzy =), just got back from a party. (it’s friday!)
